Julieta Prandi’s ex will be tried for gender violence and sexual abuse

On April 15, the courts were drawn to determine that the aforementioned court would be in charge of the process, after Contardi’s appeal for it to be Court No. 3 of Guarantees, which was rejected by the Court of Appeals.

The Court in charge will be made up of judges Daniel Rópolo, Federico Matinengo and a magistrate appointed by the Court of Appeals. At the moment, the date for the start of the trial has not been defined.

One of the keys to the case is a report made by the psychiatrist expert Rafael Herrera Milanowho attended Prandi as a patient and confirmed the psychological damage to her as a result of the illness she suffered during the relationship.

In his report, the doctor states that Prandi presented “marked symptoms of anguish, anxiety and emotional lability.” In turn, he added: “Throughout the interviews, unequivocal indicators of having suffered chronic stress situations have been observed, compatible with sexual harassment and family violence sustained over timehighlighting a lacerating damage to their self-esteem.

Prandi presented his novel a few days ago “I should be dead”which, although not autobiographical, is based on her personal history of gender violence.

The current partner of musician Emanuel Ortega told América TV: “If my work had not made me a public person, the outcome would have been different. “I was threatened, I was afraid and for some reason I left my house.”
