Aline Abboud has announced the birth of her baby. There are also congratulations for the “Tagesthemen” presenter from celebrity colleagues.
Aline Abboud (36) has become a mother. On Instagram, the “Tagesthemen” presenter shows the newborn’s hand lying in hers and added: “We’re fine.” She also used the hashtags “#loveofmylife (love of my life) #besttime (best time) and #theygrowtoofast”. The 36-year-old kept the gender and name of the baby to herself. She also did not reveal any further details. There are already numerous congratulations on the offspring in the comments. Among others, Abboud’s TV colleagues Dunja Hayali (49) and Esther Sedlaczek (38) are happy there with the new mother.
Aline Abboud also announced her pregnancy with an Instagram photo in September. “The only night shift I’m looking forward to,” she wrote about the picture in which she stands in front of a front door in Berlin with a baby bump and looks into the distance.
In January, NDR announced in a press release that the presenter of “Tagesthemen” was on maternity leave. Julia-Niharika Sen (56) was announced as a substitute.
From ZDF to Erste
Aline Abboud was born in East Berlin in 1988. She studied Arabic at the University of Leipzig until 2013 and worked for various media during her studies. After a traineeship at the German Bundestag, she moved to ZDF and then came to Erste. Abboud has been moderating the “Tagesthemen” since September 2021.
