Christmas menu: This is available from the stars as a holiday meal

The festive menu belongs to Christmas like a Christmas tree and gifts. This is what celebrities put on the table on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve, roast goose or sausages with potato salad are often on the menu – the stars are no exception. At presenter Daniel Boschmann (41) there will be potato salad and sausages on December 24th, he reveals to the news agency spot on news. However, he attaches particular importance to the preparation.

“The potatoes are not cut into slices, but into cubes. That is a little more work, but it makes the salad all the better. The potatoes also have to steep overnight so that they have even more aroma and the starch runs out a little. And we use Silesian veal sausages, that was passed on to us by our grandparents, “explains the 41-year-old.

A flexible order

Even with pop star Ben Zucker (38), Christmas Eve is “very classic with potato salad and sausages”. Singer Mike Singer (21) “has a delicious noodle soup as a starter and the main course is followed by chicken with fried potatoes and thousands of salads”. The actor couple Elena Uhlig (46) and Fritz Karl (54) relies on “goose, fondue and sausages, although I am flexible in the order”, reveals Uhlig.

Henning Baum (49) takes over the command “depending on whether we were invited to my mother’s place or whether we are at home”. “It may be sensible to eat vegetarian, but for me a goose should be on the table at Christmas. Dumplings with sauce and red cabbage are also welcome,” says the 49-year-old. For him, red wine is also a part of it. “After dinner I enjoy a cigar and a glass of rum from the Congo.”

From fish to tartes aux fries

“Since I’ve been married to an Italian, we’ve all been eating fish on Christmas Eve,” reveals Jana Ina Zarrella (45). “On Christmas Eve, Giovanni’s mom takes over the cooking, she cooks so well and conjures up incredible dishes for us! In Brazil, turkey is traditionally eaten.”

Actress Yasmina Filali (46) and her husband Thomas Helmer (56) “always have raclette for Christmas. With homemade sauces and the best meat and fish,” enthuses the 46-year-old.

“I get up on Christmas Eve and bake tartes aux fries,” reveals Patricia Kelly (52). “My husband cooks the turkey or duck for it, which sometimes turns out a little too dark. We don’t care! The main thing is that everyone is cozy together at home.”
