Channing Tatum (44) and Jenna Dewan (43) separated in 2018, but their divorce is still not completely resolved. Despite all the delays, there doesn’t seem to be any hatred between the two parties, at least not according to one.
“Both want to put these last problems behind them”
The two actors are caring for their daughter together, “and while the remaining money issues are frustrating, they don’t hate each other,” an anonymous source reports. Another insider says that the parties would apparently like to get the remaining questions out of the way: “Both want to put these final problems behind them.” They are each “in love with someone else” and therefore want to finally end their failed relationship.
About two weeks ago, the two stars were reportedly still arguing about financial matters and a hearing had been scheduled. Among other things, it is said to be about profits from the “Magic Mike” franchise, which is loosely based on Tatum’s experiences as a former stripper. The former couple jointly acquired the intellectual property rights to “Magic Mike” and this unresolved point is the “biggest problem” that also impacts the solution to other financial issues.
Now there is talk that there has been no agreement since then and that a trial is scheduled to begin on December 8th.
Dewan and Tatum met in 2006, married in 2009 and had a daughter together in 2013. They announced their separation in April 2018. Jenna Dewan filed for divorce a few months later. In November 2019, a judge declared the two legally single.
She has been dating actor and singer Steve Kazee (48) since the end of 2018. The couple, who are also engaged, have a child together. In January, they announced that they were expecting another one. Tatum has been in a relationship with his fellow actress Zoë Kravitz (35) since 2021, but they mostly keep their relationship out of the public eye.
