What “Mufasa: The Lion King” is about

In the film “Mufasa: The Lion King”, Rafiki is in charge of transmitting the legend of Mufasa to the young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa contributing their characteristic tricks. Told with flashbacks, the story presents Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a friendly lion named Taka, heir to a royal bloodline. This chance encounter sets in motion the long journey of an extraordinary group of excluded people in search of their destiny. Their bonds will be tested as they work together to elude a threatening and deadly enemy.
