“Look into the Kastl”: “Blindly determined” between techno and foil

“Look into the Kastl”: “Blindly determined” between techno and foil

A priest who was not one is dead. The secret of his true existence is by no means the only one. The clues lead the investigators Haller (Philipp Hochmair), Falk (Andreas Guenther) and Lämmert (Laura Janda) into circles where fencing is part of good family etiquette, blood is the thickest juice and a sadistic brother brutally abused his little sister as a child . The latter elicits dark timbres from the cello and guards an even darker secret: Martina Ebm, as a fragile-seeming musician with fencing talent, awakens Falk’s protective instincts and perhaps even more. A tender romance is inscribed in this solidly knit crime thriller with Johannes Zirner and Hannes Wegener as brothers.

And two warnings: Beware of confessionals – they may be bugged. And don’t watch a football game on your cell phone during a concert – your shout of “goal” could be louder than any bell.
