Britney Spears and Sam Asghari: Divorce is almost finalized

Britney Spears (42) will soon be officially a divorcee. , Spears and her ex-husband Sam Asghari (30) have finalized their divorce.

The documents were submitted to a court in Los Angeles late on Wednesday evening. They become official with a judge’s signature.

It is said that the divorce was amicable thanks to a watertight marriage contract. Spears will keep “various jewelry” and other personal items, as well as income she earned before, during and after the couple’s marriage, according to the documents. Other assets should be divided according to the prenuptial agreement. A source described the prenuptial agreement as “ironclad” to Page Six.

Nine months ago, Spears and Asghari announced they were going their separate ways. Asghari officially filed for divorce from Spears on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences.” He gave the date of separation as July 28th. He had asked Spears for spousal support and to cover his legal fees.

Custody agreement for the dogs

After six years of relationship, no children were born from the one-year marriage. To do this, the ex-couple had to agree on a custody agreement for their five dogs. Asghari became the sole owner of a Doberman named Porsha, which he purchased for the singer in October 2021 to “protect” her. Spears was given full custody of her four other dogs, including an Australian Shepherd named Sawyer and a Yorkie named Hannah.

The marriage to Asghari was the third for the pop star. From 2004 to 2007 she was married to background dancer Kevin Federline (46), who is the father of her sons Sean Preston (18) and Jayden James (17). In 2004, she also made headlines with a 55-hour marriage to a childhood friend from Louisiana.
