“Women and Cinema” and the “Cosquín International Independent Film Festival” avoid the cultural chainsaw and present their new editions, with attractive titles
Two more festivals have eluded the chainsaw: the historic Women and Cinema, which is on its 36th. edition, and the 13th Cosquín Independent Film International, which is on the 13th. Both start today, end on Sunday, and are sustained with their own efforts and the help of sponsors such as the Polo Audiovisual Córdoba for the cosquineros. The Incaa has limited itself to symbolic support, even in the award for the best short film of La Mujer, which previously included a small sum of money and now is no more than a pat on the shoulder.
