Miller gave it the form of a novel which would lead to the script of another feature film. “During the preparation of Mad Max: Fury Road we also wrote what happened to Max in the year before we met him in that film”.
“As we got closer to the end of Furiosa in the timeline, we basically had to see that Max was lurking around somewhere. Because we do know what happened. The writers know what happened to Max in that previous year, and we have a whole story about that, which I would like to do at some point if I have the opportunity.” This third film would, therefore, narrate what happens between the end of Furiosa and the beginning of Fury Road. there is a firm intention to film a second Fury Road prequel, Miller says “Well, we are certainly working on it.”.
