Chris Noth: New allegations against “Sex and the City” star

“Sex and the City” star Chris Noth gets more and more distressed. Another woman accuses the 67-year-old of sexual assault. In the past week, three women had already made similar allegations.

Another woman accused the actor Chris Noth, known from the US series “Sex and the City”, of sexual assault. Singer-songwriter Lisa Gentile said Thursday that Noth harassed her in her New York apartment in 2002. Gentile will not report Noth, however, as the alleged assault is already statute-barred, according to her lawyer Gloria Allred.

As Gentile said at an online press conference with her lawyer, Noth went into the young woman’s apartment after driving her home. There he kissed and touched her against her will and became more and more “aggressive”, said Gentile. But she managed to push him away and say “No, I don’t want to”.

Chris Noth: Insults and threats

Noth then left the apartment angry and insulted, Gentile reported. The next day he called her and threatened to ruin her music career if she did not keep silent about the incident.

Last week, two women had alleged rape against the 67-year-old Noth. In a report in Hollywood Reporter magazine, a woman said that Noth raped her in 2004 in his West Hollywood apartment. The then 22-year-old said he had previously met him at the pool and just wanted to bring him back a book that he had lent her. The other woman said that Noth attacked her in 2015 after a date in his New York apartment.

Later, a third woman spoke up, describing another sexual assault in 2010 on the Daily Beast website.

Chris Noth rejects allegations

Noth denied all allegations. “The allegations against me, which are made by people I met years or even decades ago, are categorically false,” Noth told the AFP news agency. The contacts with the women concerned were “consensual”.

Noth played the role of Mr. Big in the cult series “Sex an the City”. He recently took this up again in the continuation of the series under the title “And Just Like That”.
