How to disinfect food cutting boards
Periodically it is advisable to disinfect and deeply clean the boards where the meat is cut. The most efficient ways are:
- Lavandin: I added a small amount per four liters of water and let it sit for a few hours.
- White vinegar: If you prefer to avoid using bleach, white vinegar is an excellent alternative, thanks to its antibacterial properties. Simply rub the vinegar on the board, let it dry, and that’s it.
- Lemon: If the board has a strong smell after cleaning, you can leave it with a napkin soaked in lemon juice to eliminate it.
