Mortensen was another of the actors who also remembered the late Hill during a presentation: ““I want to dedicate this conversation to an actor named Bernard Hill, he played King Théoden in the movies. He was my dear friend. Long live King Théoden!”
For his part, director Peter Jackson issued a statement regarding the death of the beloved actor:
