Pamela Anderson (56) interrupted her make-up break for her Met Gala debut. The “Baywatch” icon of the 90s walked the green and beige carpet of the fashion spectacle in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6th in a dress by Oscar de la Renta – and wore mascara, lipstick, etc.
Glamor look for the Met Gala
The blonde was at the event for the first time, which this time had the motto “The Garden of Time”. She rocked a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown with a faux leather headpiece by Noel Stewart on the iconic Met Gala steps. Her ethereal dress featured a ruched bodice, a dreamy skirt, and a dramatic train.
As a Pandora ambassador, she combined jewelry from the brand. So she wore pink and white diamonds, her necklace fell down her back.
What was particularly special was her face: the former sex bomb has actually been going for a natural look for years and recently only appeared without make-up. But for the Met Gala, she had glamorous, radiant make-up done by make-up artist Pat McGrath. Hairdresser Orlando Pita styled her long, blonde hair into a loose 90s-style updo – complete with feathers to match the gala theme.
A day earlier, Anderson appeared at Anna Wintour’s (74) pre-Met dinner without makeup. She paired it with a sleek silver chain-link party skirt and an oversized white button-down boyfriend-style shirt with an asymmetrical collar and oversized cuffs.

Like Pamela Anderson, actor Jeff Goldblum (71) also celebrated his debut at the Met Gala.
