While Jessica Biel came to the Met Gala 2024 without her husband Justin Timberlake, Eddie Redmayne beamed at his wife’s side.
British actor Eddie Redmayne (42) made a sweet couple appearance together with his wife Hannah Bagshawe (41) at the Met Gala 2024. The Oscar winner stood out from the crowd of stars with a futuristic dress.
Both wore the same pattern
The 42-year-old went for an androgynous look at the fashion event, also known as the “Fashion Oscars,” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Redmayne presented a black blazer dress with a white mesh skirt and sheer cut-out panels and a wavy pattern. The robe revealed his legs. Perfectly matched by Hannah Bagshawe, who wore a strapless dress with the same pattern and a corset top that showed off her tiny waist. Her dress included a wide, pleated mesh skirt, and she wore transparent evening gloves, a matching black headpiece and black velvet high heels.
The couple will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary at the end of 2024
The partner look underlined the bond between the couple, who met at a charity fashion show in 2000 while studying at Eton College. They are said to have only discovered their love twelve years later, after the actor invited them to a trip to Florence during a break from filming “Les Misérables”. The couple got engaged in June 2014 and tied the knot at Babington House in December of that year. So this year marks the tenth wedding anniversary. Daughter Iris (8) and son Luke (6) made the happiness perfect.
The Met Gala takes place every year on the first Monday in May and always has a new theme. This year the event was titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the dress theme was “The Garden of Time.”
