The US actresses Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor have been together for almost ten years. Now Paulson explains why they both prefer to continue living apart.
US actress Sarah Paulson (49, “American Horror Story”) sees the secret of her long-lasting relationship with actress Holland Taylor (81, “Two and a Half Men”) as the fact that they both live separately.
“Holland and I spend a lot of time together, but we don’t live in the same house,” the Golden Globe and Emmy winner explained on the Smartless podcast. “We’ve been together for a long time, and I think that has something to do with the fact that we’re together when we want to be and not when we don’t want to be.”
Paulson explained that she loves falling asleep holding hands with her friend. But she “didn’t want to have her around the rest of the time,” she added jokingly. In fact, Taylor hasn’t been in many long-term relationships before her and therefore has little experience when it comes to living with others, Paulson explained. “I think it was a lot to suddenly have me and my whole self in her space.” The two actresses have been together since 2015.
