British singer Zayn Malik has opened up about his “not very successful” attempts on the dating app Tinder. Everyone accused him of having to be someone else who only pretended to be the singer Malik, the 31-year-old told the US magazine “Nylon”. “They asked, ‘Why are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures?’ I got kicked out once or twice.”
The former One Direction singer used to date fellow musician Perrie Edwards for several years and was also engaged. He has a three-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with model Gigi Hadid.
He is now “truly content and happy with being single for the first time in my life,” as Malik said. “It’s probably wise to take your time before fully committing to another person as your lifelong partner.” Malik’s new album “Room Under the Stairs” will be released on May 17th.
