Britney Spears: Emotional post about her family

Britney Spears (42) has been at odds with her family for years. She has now shown herself to be emotional and may have dared to make an approach: “We all have problems with our families, but you can’t help it how much you love them,” she wrote in her post. “I’m not in this picture, but I feel damn sure I am,” she added. In the posting, she published a photo of her mother Lynne Spears (69), sitting at a small table with her granddaughters, the children of Jamie Lynn Spears (33), eating.

In her post on Wednesday (May 15), Britney Spears said: “On a side note, anyone who knows me knows that I’ve ended up at the kids’ table at every event I’ve ever been to! The most expensive dinners and I always find myself Sitting in the back with the kids again! Anyway, I’m posting this picture because my family is just beautiful and I miss them.” She wanted to share this picture “because even though I’m not in it, I sure as hell felt like I was!”

Spears has repeatedly spoken out against her family in recent years, including in her tell-all book “The Woman in Me: My Story,” published in 2023. She accuses her father Jamie Spears (71) of having dictated her life during the guardianship, which has now ended. She would also have expected more support from her mother and younger sister during the time of guardianship. The “Toxic” singer also took issue with her sister’s 2022 memoir, “Things I Should Have Said.” She marketed the book at the expense of her famous sister.

Most recently, Britney Spears hit the headlines at the beginning of May after she was said to have been involved in a heated argument at a luxury hotel in Hollywood. In a message, she also shot at her mother, who she apparently believes was “involved” in the night’s incident. “I know my mom was involved! I haven’t spoken to her in six months and she called me right after the incident before the news came out,” the singer wrote.
