British actress Sophie Turner (28) says she received valuable support from pop star Taylor Swift (34) after her separation from US singer Joe Jonas (34). “Taylor has been an absolute hero for me this year,” Turner told British Vogue. The “Game of Thrones” actress and the “Sucker” singer announced their separation last September after four years of marriage and then fought a week-long custody battle over their two daughters. Photos of Turner and Swift out together in New York also surfaced in September. Swift briefly dated Jonas when she was 18.
According to the “Vogue” interview, Turner contacted the pop singer while looking for an apartment in New York. Swift then offered the British woman to move in with her daughters. “I have never been more grateful to anyone than she was because she took my children and me in and gave us a home and a safe place,” Turner said. “She really has a heart of gold.”
