Prince Harry and his departure from the royal family have been hotly debated in the media. Now he is publishing an autobiography – which has met with little public interest.
Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan have dominated the headlines of the British tabloids several times this year. But the announced memoirs of the 36-year-old prince seem to have met with little interest.
As a poll published today by the Yougov polling institute revealed, just 3 percent of British people are “very interested” in Harry’s autobiography. “A little interest” was shown by 11 percent of those surveyed. But the vast majority of 67 percent said they were not interested in it at all. More than 5,800 adults in the UK took part in the survey.
Harry, who now lives in the United States with his wife and two children, announced at the beginning of the week that he would publish his memoirs in the coming year. In the past he had repeatedly shown dissatisfaction with the way he was portrayed in the media. Now he wants to publish “a first-hand report that is correct and absolutely honest” about his life.
