Hollywood shooting star Glen Powell: His parents make fun of him at the film premiere

He was last seen in “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022) or the romantic comedy “Where the Lie Falls” (2023) with Sydney Sweeney (26). “Hit Man” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 to critical acclaim. It seems that Powell’s parents still want to make sure that his success doesn’t go to his head.

He also explained that the signs his parents were holding were inspired by nasty posts about him on X. “I don’t read tweets, but my parents read tweets – so if you talk trash, you should know that my parents read those tweets,” he added. Glen Powell continued: “They thought it was a fun idea, so I loved it. Even though they troll me, they support me in every way.”

Powell and his mother made headlines back in February when the actor revealed that she keeps him grounded by pre-criticizing his red carpet looks. “Glen, you know, it might make you look a little stupid,” she’ll say. : “Does anyone have any good nursing home recommendations? I feel like it’s about time.”

Glen Powell currently has two big films coming out. “Hit Man”, directed by Richard Linklater (63, “Boyhood”), can be seen on Netflix from June 7th, and from July 18th he will star alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones (25) in the sequel of the cult blockbuster “Twisters” in the cinemas.
