At the Cannes Film Festival, one actress in particular is currently impressing with her sophisticated and extravagant looks: On Thursday (May 16th), Anya Taylor-Joy (28) appeared again in a stunning outfit at the morning photo session and press conference. She created another fashion highlight one day after the celebrated world premiere of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”.
Look for the press is reminiscent of the 1920s
To promote her new film on the French Riviera, Taylor-Joy appeared at the Palais des Festivals wearing an extravagant 1920s-style pearl headdress. Under the headgear, the 28-year-old Argentine-British-American actress’s light blonde hair fell casually over her shoulders.
The actress, known from the Netflix hit “The Queen’s Gambit”, also wore a cream-white costume, which, however, revealed her stomach due to its unconventional cut. The short jacket only reached below her chest. She paired the cropped look with an elegant mini-length skirt and delicate strappy high heels.
Dark eye make-up and soft pink lips completed the eye-catching outfit. Her “Mad Max” co-star Chris Hemsworth (40) posed just as casually next to Taylor-Joy at the photo session in a soft pastel pink suit. Supporting actor Tom Burke (42), director George Miller (79) and producer Doug Mitchell (72) were also present at the Cannes event.
