As a fashion designer and stylist, Misa Hylton played an important role in the American rap and hip-hop scene for years. She styled Lil’ Kim and Mary J. Blige, and had a son in 1993. Shocking allegations have been mounting for months against Diddy, who enjoyed great success in the rap scene for years and is one of the most powerful artists in the industry.

Recently, images from a surveillance camera made the rounds showing Diddy beating up his then-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016. Fans were shocked online, and Diddy apologized publicly in an Instagram video. Now Hylton has spoken explicitly about the incident. She posted photos of the rapper’s seven children on Instagram.

“These young people were raised by women who want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always worked together to support their dreams,” she wrote. Diddy doesn’t have a child with Cassie, but Hylton also cares about her. “It breaks my heart that Cassie has to relive the horror of her abuse, and I feel for her. I know exactly how she feels, and through my compassion, it has triggered my own trauma,” the stylist said.
Her posting is primarily about solidarity for Cassie, but also for Diddy’s children, who cannot help the allegations against the musician. “Your father needs help, and I pray that he will truly personally seek it out and receive it,” Hylton said.
It was only in April that the musician’s lawyers announced that their client denied all allegations against him. Sean “Diddy” Combs sees himself as a victim, it became clear at the time. Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dyer recently spoke of an “unprecedented ambush” and a “witch hunt” when he criticized the house searches by officers. Combs faces multiple lawsuits from people who accuse him of sexually abusing them. Combs has denied all allegations made against him.
In a 35-page indictment, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie accused the producer of psychological violence and manipulation at the end of last year. A little later both agreed to a settlement. Diddy said at the time that he had never been violent. The video recordings have shockingly proven that this is not true.
