Unexpected visit to a London theater: Superstar Zendaya surprised the leading actor at the premiere of “Romeo & Juliet.”
There are few joint appearances by Zendaya (27) and Tom Holland (27). But at the premiere of his current play “Romeo & Juliet”, the actress did not miss the opportunity to support her boyfriend.
Shielded by security staff, Zendaya strutted into London’s “The Duke of York’s” theater on Thursday evening (May 23) in a sparkling black dress by British designer Vivienne Westwood (81). After the final curtain fell, she cheered on her partner, who plays the role of Romeo in the new version of the Shakespeare classic. The 27-year-old is said to have left the theater hand in hand with the “Spider-Man” actor.
A rare joint visit to the theatre
The singer and actress rarely appears in public with Holland and protects her private life. But the couple puts their principles aside to support each other: she applauds him at the premiere in London, he proudly posts her most beautiful red carpet looks or promotes her current tennis film “Challengers”.
Loving words
“I feel so lucky. I have so much support around me,” Zendaya enthused in an interview in April. The exceptional talent has now given some of that back.
Tom Holland and Zendaya met in 2016 while filming “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” What started as a friendship developed into something more: in 2021, their relationship became public after they were seen kissing in a car.
