Chris Hemsworth’s offspring are already planning their own Hollywood careers. Will the Marvel star soon face competition from his family?
His latest action film has just been released. Now Chris Hemsworth (40) is talking about how the muscle man from “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” could soon face strong competition in the film business: Hemsworth’s children want to follow in his footsteps.
“I still have to keep my children on the sidelines,” says the Australian of his extremely ambitious daughter India Rose (12) and twins Sasha and Tristan (10). The three of them love risky action scenes. “They’re always saying: ‘Give me a chance! I want to jump in there, jump in the truck and the bike.’ And so on,” adds Hemsworth.
“My children should have been afraid, but they laughed”
In addition to his wife, actress Elsa Pataky (47), who also appears in “Furiosa”, his children were also present during filming. “I know it’s not a children’s film, but they saw everything,” admits the 40-year-old. “It was like a Halloween party for them. They laughed in the sequences where they were supposed to be scared.”
Co-star Anya Taylor-Joy (28) also said about the Hemsworth offspring after meeting India, Sasha and Tristan on set and during the promotional tour: “They are such cool kids.” The actress can only confirm their future suitability for action films: “They will be the killer.”
He owes his wife a career
His wonderful family is thanks to his “Thor” hammer-wielding wife Elsa Pataky, with whom he has been married since 2010. At the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 23, 2024, Hemsworth said humbly: “I want to thank my wonderful wife, who has been by my side throughout my career and has encouraged and supported me endlessly. And it is not lost on me that she put her own dreams aside to support mine. I am forever in your debt.”
