Gwen Stefani: Singer celebrates son Kingston’s birthday

Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston has turned 18. The singer shared a video of the mother-son duo on Instagram.

Time flies so quickly – that’s what US singer Gwen Stefani (54) must have thought too. The first-born son of the “Hollaback Girl” singer and her ex-husband, British musician Gavin Rossdale (58), celebrated his 18th birthday on Sunday, May 26. On Instagram, the singer dedicated a cute mother-son video to her son Kingston Rossdale (18) on his special day.

“My firstborn little boy”

“Happy birthday,” the singer wrote on the video, which she shared with her almost 18 million followers. The “No Doubt” frontwoman started her compilation with a video of the young Kingston, in which he holds a crystal ball and tells the camera with great conviction that it can predict “the future.”

For her video, Stefani chose the fitting song “Kingston Town” by the British band UB40. Other photos showed the singer’s son as a baby and a toddler, including a shot of the now 18-year-old making his first attempts at playing the guitar and holding his brother Zuma Rossdale (15), who is almost two years younger, as a baby.

The singer ended the little birthday tribute with newer photos, which include Kingston with his girlfriend Lola Albert (16) and Stefani’s new husband Blake Shelton (47). She wrote: “My first born little boy. Can’t believe you’re 18 today… I love you!”

Three sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale

All three of the singer’s sons come from Gwen Stefani’s relationship with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. The ex-couple’s youngest son, Apollo, was born in February 2014. Just one year later, Stefani and Rossdale filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage. Stefani has been married to country musician Blake Shelton since 2021.
