Hollywood star Chris Pratt (44) says he wasn’t very careful with his first big paycheck. “I never imagined I would earn so much money – and it was gone so quickly,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star told the radio station SiriusXM.
For his “first big job” for a TV movie, he got $75,000, which was a “crazy amount of money” for him, Pratt says. “I felt like I would never run out of money.” At the time, he was traveling the world and considering buying his own yacht. “Then, about two months later, I asked myself, ‘Where did the money go?'” he said.
Because he grew up with little money, he never really learned how to manage it and spent everything straight away, explained Pratt. Today he is “wiser” when it comes to finances.
