Brad Pitt and daughter Vivienne: Did she drop his last name?

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (15), the twin daughter of Angelina Jolie (48) and Brad Pitt (60), seems to have dropped the “Pitt” from her surname. In the theater program of the new musical “The Outsiders”, in whose production she helped her mother Jolie (48), she is only listed as “Vivienne Jolie”. It is still unclear whether the girl has officially changed her surname.

The 15-year-old is listed as a production assistant for the play “The Outsiders.” Her mother’s brief description reads: “Angelina is thrilled to be working on her first project as a theater producer alongside her daughter Vivienne, who studies theater and promotes the arts.” Jolie announced her plans to produce the show – an adaptation of Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film – in August 2023. The play premiered in April.

Zahara also deleted the “Pitt”

Vivienne is not the first of the six children of the former Hollywood couple to attract attention with a name change. Her sister Zahara (19) also introduced herself without the addition of “Pitt”: As a video showed, she simply called herself “Zahara Marley Jolie” when she was accepted into the AKA fraternity at Spelman College last November. The relationship between Brad Pitt and his children has been strained for years.

Separation in 2016

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt separated more than seven years ago and fought for years over custody of their six children. The actress filed for divorce in 2016 – to the surprise of the public. Although the stars had been together since 2005, they only married in 2014. After Brad Pitt allegedly freaked out on a plane, Jolie separated. The couple has three biological and three adopted children.
