Premiere of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”: Actor Will Smith celebrates in Berlin

Party in Berlin: Will Smith celebrated the premiere of his new film together with his colleague Martin Lawrence.

Will Smith (55) celebrated the premiere of “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” in Berlin with his co-star Martin Lawrence (59). The 55-year-old appeared on the red carpet on Monday evening (May 27) in a gray oversized suit. Underneath the long jacket he wore a loose white shirt. The sneakers he combined with his outfit were also white. Will Smith also presented a wide, silver necklace and sunglasses at the event. Martin Lawrence also wore dark sunglasses. The actor had also chosen an elegant black suit with silver details for the event.

Pictures of the event show Will Smith in a good mood, signing autographs and taking selfies with fans. The Hollywood star has not experienced this very often in recent months. After the Oscar scandal in 2022, he had temporarily withdrawn from the public eye. The actor had slapped Chris Rock (59) on the stage of the film awards ceremony after he made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith (52).

This is what the new “Bad Boys” movie is about

Will Smith’s “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” will be in German cinemas from June 5th. It is his first major film after the slapping scandal. The first “Bad Boys” film was released in 1995, “Bad Boys II” came out in 2003, and “Bad Boys For Life” in 2020.

In the new film, Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are apparently investigating a corruption scandal within the Miami police force. The late Captain Howard is accused of being involved. Mike and Marcus are sure that their former superior has been framed. In a message recorded before his death, Howard asks the two to clear his name. But soon they themselves are being hunted.
