Johnny Wactor: Godmother collects donations for his family

The US actor Johnny Wactor (1986-2024) was shot dead in Los Angeles on May 25th. A campaign has now been launched on the donation platform “gofundme” to financially support the family of the deceased. Wactor’s mother Scarlett has reportedly supported the appeal for donations.

It is explained that the organizer of the appeal is the godmother of the slain actor, who was known from the soap opera “General Hospital” among other things. “On May 25th, the son of my dearest and best friend was murdered,” it says. “Johnny was a very kind soul. My heart is deeply broken and somehow we need justice for Johnny!”

Family should be able to take care of “heartbreaking matter”

The organizer wants to raise money for Wactor’s mother and his brothers Lance and Grant so that they can travel about 2,000 miles to Los Angeles as often as necessary “to deal with this heartbreaking matter to which they have been sentenced.”

Since the fundraising campaign began, more than $50,000 has been raised (as of May 28, 4:15 p.m.). The fundraising goal is $100,000. All donations that exceed the amount ultimately needed will be donated to charitable organizations in memory of the deceased.

According to US reports, Wactor was shot dead in Los Angeles at the weekend at the age of 37. According to police reports, he confronted three men on Saturday night who were allegedly tampering with his car. The men were allegedly trying to steal the car’s catalytic converter. At around 3:25 a.m., the police found a man with a gunshot wound, who is believed to have been Wactor. The actor was taken to a hospital where he died.
