According to the official synopsis, Clooney plays “a professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up, “Two ‘lone wolves’ are forced to work together and find their night spiraling out of control. control in a way neither of them expected.” No words are spoken in the trailer, just Clooney and Pitt’s couple sitting in a moving vehicle. The film was written and directed by the three-time director of Spider-Man, Jon Wattsand along with Clooney and Pitt, they co-star in the Academy Award-nominated Amy Ryan, Poorna Jagannathan by Never Have I Ever and Austin Abrams from Euphoria.
Wolfs was first announced in 2021, and its appearance sparked an old-fashioned bidding war between numerous studios. Ultimately, Apple TV Plus acquired the rights to the film, and Sony later acquired the theatrical distribution rights.
The film has a confirmed theatrical release date for September 2024.
