Gardel Awards 2024: EVLAY won the “Producer of the Year” award for the second time

In an unprecedented and unique event in the history of the prestigious Gardel awardswhich honor the best of Argentine music, Facundo Yalveknown artistically as EVLAYwins for the second time the “Producer of the Year” award, a recognition that marks another milestone in his career as an Argentine artist.

On this occasion, the award for “Producer of the Year” is anchored in “111”, the first studio album by the young Argentine singer and composer. Milo J. “Immersing myself in the universe of each artist I work with is an absolutely unique and unrepeatable process. Each project is a new story, and as a producer, my role is to accommodate the artist as the project unfolds,” says Yalve.

Who is EVLAY?

His work has been fundamental for the musical revolution in Latin America, collaborating with prodigious artists such as WOS, Bizarrap, Nicki Nicole, ACRU, LOUTA, CA7RIEL, YSY A, Paco Amoroso, Tiago PZK, Rauw Alejandro, Sebastian Yatra and Danny Oceanamong others.

In 2020, he released his first EP, titled “#1824”, marking the beginning of his record label, CARAZA RECORDS, in honor of his hometown neighborhood. This label is intended for producers and musicians who wish to share their material and work from various perspectives.

In 2023 he released “333”, his first album, in which he sought to convey to new generations of producers that there are still things to do and tell. “333” does not have a genre, a style or an era. It is made up of 12 songs and features the participation of the best Argentine music artists of the moment: WOS, Santiago Motorizado, An Espil, Ca7riel, Nicolas Alfieri (Everything Appears Normal), Antonio Algo, Lisandro Arstimuño & Tomy Sainz, Neo Pistea, Cate Finochi, Pedrito Pasquale and Taichu.
