Comedian Patton Oswalt is in charge of lending his voice to one of the most bizarre villains, where he is not afraid to use extreme humor.
Jordan Blum and Oswalt come together to give life to ‘MODOK‘, an original series of Hulu that distances itself from the cinematographic universe of Marvel, although it does not skimp on references to its superheroes. Oswalt is not only one of the creators, but also the voice of the protagonist. This creative freedom, not being linked to Disney+allows you to explore unusual terrain for a series of the genre.

The starting point is refreshing and the humor, marked by irony, is not afraid to touch on topics such as violence and bad words. The series shows the miseries of its protagonist, MODOK, without neglecting the most lethal side of him, all with a carefully calculated approach.

The series nimbly balances the personal and the professional, with clever gags that employ self-awareness as a narrative tool. ‘MODOK’ promises to be more than just a comedy within the marvel universethanks to its ability to handle excess in unexpected ways.
Although everything in the series borders on the absurd, it does not dwell on it, but embraces it without complexes, maintaining a histrionic tone backed by the animation from the studio of Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, known for ‘Robot Chicken’.
