She and the organizers involved are accused of negligent misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false advertising and breach of written contract.
Madonna was sued this week for her Celebration Tour after a Southern California man filed a complaint saying the massive stadium show he attended in Los Angeles forced him to watch what he called explicit sexual content and caused him emotional distress.

Justen Lipeles presented a class action lawsuit against the singer, Live Nation and other entities involved in the Celebration tour Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, months after he attended his March 7 concert at Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The show is based entirely on his back catalog and his 40-year career.

What the lawsuit against Madonna says
The pop star and the show’s organizers are accused of negligent misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false advertising and breach of written contract.
“Unannounced porn, topless women on stage simulating sexual acts,” were some of the aspects of Madonna’s show mentioned in the legal filing. The complaint also says that the singer played back during much of her performance, and Lipeles says he was suffocated inside the KIA Forum; She became physically ill from the heat and Madonna ordered the air conditioning to be turned off while she performed, the lawsuit claims. The pop star’s late arrival on stage is also mentioned in the lawsuit.
This is not the first legal action Madonna has faced for arriving late to the Celebration Tour. While her career retrospective show is announced to begin at 8:30 pm, she arrived at the stadium at 10:30 pm for other performances.
“I’m sorry I’m late… no, I’m not sorry, it’s just who I am… I’m always late.”claims Madonna told her audience at a Dec. 17 performance.
Previously, two men filed a case over their lateness on stage, calling it “unconscionable, unfair and/or deceptive business practices.” Madonna’s team claimed that it was an unforeseen technical problem that caused the delay. The pop superstar faced a lawsuit in 2019 for arriving late to the stage during her Madame X Tour. That case was dismissed.
