Patricija and Alexandru Ionel found out the gender of their baby live on the dance floor of the “Let’s Dance Profi Challenge”.
At “Let’s Dance – The Big Professional Challenge” the professional dancers of the popular RTL show were given the opportunity to show off their skills on the dance floor on Friday evening (May 31st). Also present were the professional dance couple Patricija (29) and Alexandru Ionel (29), who are known to be expecting a baby. The “Let’s Dance” stars transformed the big dance show on Friday evening into a gender reveal party of a different kind.
The Ionels will soon be five
Patricija Ionel had handed in a letter from her gynecologist to the production. It stated the gender of her baby. The team behind the scenes kept the happy news a secret, so Alexandru and Patricija Ionel only found out the baby’s gender at the end of their dance. So the sensation was perfect when blue and pink confetti suddenly flew across the dance floor.
The Ionels are expecting a boy and a girl. They are having twins. The couple already shares a son, Noelis, and will therefore have five children in the future.
Patricija Ionel took part in this year’s “Let’s Dance” season alongside entrepreneur Tillman Schulz (34). At the time, no one suspected that she was pregnant. After the second show, it was over for the two. Alexandru Ionel, on the other hand, danced through the RTL show with influencer Sophia Thiel (29). For Thiel, however, it was over in the sixth regular edition.
