Jennifer Lopez cancels her tour after rumors of marital crisis

Rumors have been circulating for weeks about a marital crisis between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Now the singer has canceled her North American tour. She needs a break to be with her family, she said.

Rehearsals were already in full swing, the first concert was supposed to take place in Florida at the end of June, but now Jennifer Lopez has canceled her upcoming North American tour. The “This Is Me… Live” tour was supposed to take the pop star through the USA and Canada between June 26 and August 17. But as the US celebrity portal and others reported, Lopez canceled her planned tour in order to spend more time with her family. The singer also addressed her fans with a personal statement.

In her “On The JLo” newsletter, Lopez said she was “heartbroken” about the cancellation of her tour, according to Page Six. “I am deeply saddened and devastated that I have let you down,” the 54-year-old wrote, adding: “I want you to know that I would not do this if I did not feel it was absolutely necessary.” Lopez also promised that she would “make it up to you.”

The tour organizer Live Nation has also confirmed the cancellation. In a statement from the entertainment company it says: “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
