Actress Ruth Maria Kubitschek has died. The star of over 160 film and series productions was 92 years old.
The German-Swiss actress Ruth Maria Kubitschek (1931-2024) is dead. According to media reports, she died on June 1st at the age of 92 in Switzerland. A spokeswoman confirmed this to the newspaper, among others.
Starring role as “Spatzl” in the hit series “Monaco Franze”
The long career of the star, who was born on August 2, 1931 in Komotau (Czechoslovakia), began almost 60 years ago thanks to the three-part crime thriller “Melissa”. In the years that followed, Kubitschek appeared in over 160 cinema and TV productions, including the comedies “Didi – The Doppelgänger” and “Otto – The Love Story” and series such as “The Case Next Door” and “Männer sind was Wunderbares”, to name just a few. Kubitschek also wrote various books. She was last seen on screen in 2013 in Markus Goller’s (54) tragicomedy “Frau Ella”. She made herself immortal as “Spatzl” in the hit series “Monaco Franze – The Eternal Stenz” (1983).
