Sweden has thanked its most famous pop exporters for music: ABBA. The supergroup has been awarded one of the most prestigious awards in the country, the Order of the Vasa.

It is the first time it has been awarded in almost half a century, in recognition of ABBA’s “very outstanding efforts in Swedish and international musical life.”

Earlier this year, candidates were proposed by the public and the Swedish Government and the King Charles XVI Gustav They approved the nominees that included all four members of ABBA.
