Kanye West: Former assistant sues the rapper

Rapper Kanye West (46) is being sued by his former assistant. This is reported by several US media outlets. The woman claims that Kim Kardashian’s (43) ex-husband sent her vulgar messages and videos. According to the court documents available, she accuses Kanye West of sexual harassment, but also of breach of contract, wrongful termination and a hostile work environment.

The former employee emphasizes in the filing that she began working with the rapper in July 2021 as he was preparing to launch his Yeezy fashion line. The influencer, who also collaborated with West on some “Donda” songs, was offered $1 million for the job. The only condition was that she would be available to the musician 24 hours a day, seven days a week – which she accepted.

In her lawsuit, the woman detailed that she also earned another million dollars from OnlyFans until West asked her to act more “godlike” and delete her account in 2022. In return, he wanted to increase her salary to two million dollars a year to make up for the lost income. However, he allegedly never paid her the additional amount.

He is said to have masturbated next to her

Shortly after the promised raise, he began sending her vulgar text messages. Along with the offensive messages, he allegedly sent her explicit details of sexual acts he wanted to experience, as well as photos and videos of West having sex with other women. She also received intimate photos of her from “current and former” Yeezy employees. He is also alleged to have masturbated on the phone, asked her about her boyfriend’s penis size, and even forced her to “take off her cardigan in the office because he thought it covered too much.”

In another case, he allegedly locked her in a room together and masturbated next to her before falling asleep. She also claimed he became angry after she rejected all advances to “go out or have sex” with him.

In September 2022, she was promoted to chief of staff of several of West’s companies and was to receive a salary of four million dollars. But just a month later, he fired her. She never received the three million dollars severance pay offered. In her lawsuit, she is now demanding damages for breach of contract and hostile work environment.

Another former employee accuses him of racism

This is not the first legal dispute that Kanye West has had. Just a few weeks ago, he was accused of firing a former black employee because of the color of his skin. A former security guard at the Grammy winner’s Christian school, Donda Academy, claims that West “yelled and cursed at black employees” during his employment and “regularly expressed negative views related to prominent black leaders.”
