Lilly Krug celebrates her 23rd birthday on June 5th. “Bonus dad” Carsten Maschmeyer lovingly congratulates his stepdaughter on Instagram.
The entrepreneur and “The Lion’s Den” investor has once again made it clear how close the relationship is between Lilly Krug (23) and her stepfather Carsten Maschmeyer (65). He presented his wife Veronica Ferres’ (58) daughter with a smoothie selfie and loving words on her 23rd birthday on June 5th.
“It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed,” Maschmeyer begins. “Happy birthday Lilly Krug. I still remember how I came into your life when you were only seven years old. In the evenings I often read you bedtime stories, cooked for you and woke you up in the morning and took you to the school bus,” Maschmeyer reminisces.
Lilly Krug is “a true ray of sunshine”
Lilly is now a “successful young woman”, living her dream in America, studying, pursuing her acting career and working as hard “as hardly anyone else”. Maschmeyer is “incredibly proud” of his stepdaughter and of “what you have already achieved and will still achieve”.
Finally, the entrepreneur writes to his stepdaughter: “You are a true ray of sunshine to the people in your life and I am grateful to be your bonus dad.”
Mom Veronica Ferres also congratulates her “favorite person”
Of course, Veronica Ferres also couldn’t resist: “Happy birthday, my favorite person! Today I’m thinking about how you came into the world. 23 years have passed since then. And our little girl has become a strong, independent and successful young woman,” wrote the proud mother. Ferres shared a mean mother-daughter photo showing the two arm in arm in front of a coffee stand.
Carsten Maschmeyer and Veronica Ferres tied the knot in 2014. Previously, the actress was married to Martin Krug (66), Lilly Krug’s father, from 2001 to 2010.
