Nina Dobrev underwent surgery after her accident. After the procedure, she contacted her fans and thanked them for their support.
Nina Dobrev (35) has given her fans a health update after a serious e-bike accident last month. The “Vampire Diaries” actress said that “the operation was a success.” She added: “Thank you to everyone who sent me kind messages, thoughts, prayers and good vibes.” She “felt the support and positive energy. This means more to me than you will ever understand,” said Dobrev in the post with a heart emoji.
The 35-year-old also shared her thoughts before the procedure in her Instagram story: “Is anyone else afraid of surgery? I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood, or procedures of any kind.”
Nina Dobrev keeps her fans updated
More details about Nina Dobrev’s accident are not yet known. The actress announced on May 20 that she was hospitalized due to an incident involving a dirt bike. At the time, she posted a photo of herself on the bike and then of her lying in a hospital bed – with a neck brace and a splint on her leg. “How it started and how it’s going now,” she wrote in the post.
In the days that followed, Nina Dobrev shared more photos of her leg injury and the recovery process. “Life has been looking a little different lately,” she said. Her fans should get ready for more “leg content,” because that’s all she can capture on camera these days.
No more dirt bike
In an Instagram story after the accident, Dobrev gave her fans the all-clear. “I’m okay,” wrote the actress, but she has a “long road to recovery” ahead of her. She is also sure that her “first time on a dirt bike was also her last time.” The bikes with the wide tires are used exclusively as sports equipment, mostly for jumping with the bike.
