C.Gambino has apparently fallen victim to a crime. According to the police, the rapper was shot in his Swedish homeland.
The Swedish rapper C.Gambino is dead. The 26-year-old, whose real name was Karar Ramadan, was attacked by “several men” in a parking lot, according to information from the local police in Gothenburg. The perpetrators shot C.Gambino several times. He was fatally hit by two bullets, as well as various international news sites.
According to reports, the attack took place on Tuesday evening (June 4th) shortly before 11 p.m. The musician was taken to hospital, where he died of his serious injuries shortly after midnight. It is assumed that the perpetrators deliberately ambushed their victim and struck when C. Gambino was parking his car. The police are therefore investigating the case as a murder. It is also stated that no arrests have been made yet. However, there are promising leads regarding a suspicious car that was on site at the time of the crime.
Great success just a month ago
C.Gambino received a major award in his home country just a few weeks ago. At the Grammi Awards on May 8, the Swedish equivalent of the US Grammys, he received the award in the “Hip-Hop of the Year” category.
The rapper’s trademark, similar to that of German musician Paul Würdig (43) aka Sido for many years, was a mask that covered his entire face.
