The lawsuit against Netflix for Baby Reindeer
The Clerkenwell Films series is expected to be competitive come awards season and Netflix said it would defend the show “vigorously” against the allegations made by Harvey.
Harvey is suing Netflix for defamation and negligence, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court in Los Angeles, which claims that the “biggest lie in the history of television” was told about the Scot.
Netflix said: “We intend to defend this matter vigorously and defend Richard Gadd’s right to tell his story.”.
