British presenter and journalist Michael Mosley, who has been missing for a few days, is apparently dead.
The missing British TV journalist and BBC presenter Michael Mosley is apparently dead. A body was found during the search for the missing 67-year-old, as we report. Mosley disappeared after setting off on a hike alone on the Greek island of Symi at lunchtime on June 5th.
Body has yet to be officially identified
“He was found in the area of Agia Marina,” Nikitas Grillas, deputy mayor of the island, told the Guardian. “I can confirm that it is him.” According to the BBC, the body, which was found near a cliff, has yet to be officially identified. A police source confirmed that the deceased had been dead “for several days.”
According to media reports, Mosley left his wife on a beach last Wednesday to go hiking. She reported her husband missing that evening after Mosley had not returned by 7:30 p.m. A search operation was then launched, in which police and firefighters, as well as volunteers, specially trained sniffer dogs and a drone were deployed.
TV personality and TV doctor Mosley has been a fixture on TV in Great Britain for around two decades, according to the British broadcaster. He is known for the productions “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor”, “The Truth about Exercise”, “Lose a Stone in 21 Days” and numerous TV appearances.
