Starting June 26 all movies, series, ESPN shows and sports broadcasts will move to the main streaming platform The Walt Disney Company.

Current Disney Plus users will be able to continue enjoying all existing features, such as downloads and playback on multiple devices at the same time. However, with the unification of services there will be an increase in prices. Even the Disney platform will be divided into two: Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium.


In the most economical version you will have access to the linear sports channels ESPN and ESPN3, with advertisements, audio up to 5.1, video up to 1080 Full HD pixels, simultaneous playback on two different devices and downloading up to 25 titles on ten different devices.
On the other hand, in the Premium version, certain benefits will be available such as ESPN’s sports catalog, including basic linear channels and exclusive events (all without ads), audio up to Dolby Atmos, video up to 4k UHD and HDR and simultaneous playback on four devices different.
What will happen to my Star+ account after its merger with Disney+
Disney detailed that Star+ will be available until July 24, 2024, after which the platform will stop operating. To make this transition easier, Star Plus subscribers will have the option to migrate to Disney Plus without losing access to their favorite content, thus guaranteeing a seamless experience.
The new Disney+ prices starting in July 2024
The plan of Disney+ Standard it will have a cost of $7,399 monthly or $62,149 annuallywhile that of Disney+ Premium it will be of $10,549 monthly or $88,599 annually. Either plan can be selected through the official Disney Plus website.
