Michelle and Barack Obama took the opportunity of their youngest daughter’s birthday to send her congratulations via Instagram.
Former US President Barack Obama (62) and his wife Michelle (60) posted sweet congratulations on their respective Instagram pages for the 23rd birthday of their younger daughter Natasha “Sasha”. They also published photos of them together.

Barack Obama used an to congratulate his youngest daughter. It shows him sitting in a meadow with Sasha when she was still a child. He wrote: “Happy birthday, Sasha! It’s been such a joy to watch you make your own way in the world… and you’re just getting started!”

Former First Lady Michelle Obama also dedicated a message to her daughter on her special day. It read: “Happy birthday, Sasha! You make me so incredibly proud.” She then added her wishes for the birthday girl: “Hope this year brings you everything you want and more. I love you.” In contrast to her husband, she published a more recent photo that shows her very intimately with her daughter. The two women hug each other and laugh into the camera.
Sasha is the youngest daughter of Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. She was born on June 10, 2001. Her older sister Malia (25) was born on July 4, 1998. The Obamas have been married since October 3, 1992. From 2009 to 2017 they were the presidential couple of the USA. Their daughters were seven and ten years old when they took office and then grew up in the White House in Washington. They attended the private Sidwell Friends School until they graduated from high school. Sasha finished school in 2019 and initially enrolled at the University of Michigan. She then transferred to the University of California to study psychology.
