The Oscar winner experienced a break-in at her house and another attempted break-in just a few months later. Since then, she has not liked being home alone.
US actress Goldie Hawn (78) says she feels uncomfortable at home alone since a break-in at her house and a break-in attempt that followed shortly afterwards. “I’m never without a security guard,” said the Oscar winner (“The Cactus Flower”) in the podcast “Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa”. She and her partner Kurt Russell left their house for “maybe two hours and 20 minutes” to have dinner together. Later, she went upstairs to the bedroom before Russell.
“I went upstairs (…) and into my dressing room and I just went crazy,” the actress reports. The burglars entered her bedroom via the balcony, rummaged through her closets and took many of her belongings. Just a few months later, Hawn was “alone in the house with the dog” when she heard “a thud upstairs,” the actress said. “Kurt wasn’t there and I thought, ‘What the hell was that?'” The next day, she discovered that burglars had tried to get into her bedroom again. The actress did not provide any further details about the incidents.
