So far, the defendant Ghislaine Maxwell has remained silent in court and refused to testify. But now the 60-year-old has been found guilty of five out of six counts by the jury. This threatens her with a prison sentence of up to 65 years. To reduce this, Maxwell could agree to cooperate with the authorities and testify about the sex parties and bringing underage girls to Jeffrey Epstein’s parties.

After the judgment, it does not seem to have become any more likely that the court will accept this argument. And after Maxwell’s guilty verdict, public opinion may not have necessarily turned in favor of the prince. Especially since Andrew is considered a longtime friend of the condemned.
