The divorce war between Billy Ray Cyrus (62) and his ex-partner Firerose (35) is taking on new dimensions. In May, the singer filed for divorce – after only seven months of marriage. Specifically, Firerose is said to have made a total of 37 unauthorized debits between May 23 and June 7, totaling $96,986.05 (around €90,500). With his “urgent motion,” Cyrus wants to ensure that his ex has to pay back the sum and that she is also denied access to his bank accounts and credit cards. He never gave her permission to access his finances.

Firerose denies allegations of fraud

Firerose has since also filed documents denying the allegations. She has had access to her estranged husband’s accounts since 2022 and has never been given a spending limit. She therefore believes it is appropriate to be able to freely use Billy Ray Cyrus’ money to cover “her personal and household expenses” and “legal fees” as long as the couple is still married.

On Tuesday (June 11), further details of the artists’ divorce came to light. As “TMZ” reported, Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct.” The entire marriage was entered into “with fraudulent intent.” “If he had known this, he would not have entered into the marriage,” the documents state.

The father of pop star Miley Cyrus (31) and Firerose, who is 26 years younger, say they have known each other for 14 years and met on the set of “Hannah Montana”. In 2021, they started making music together, which developed into a love affair. The couple got engaged in August 2022 and married in October 2023. Cyrus had previously been married to Tish Cyrus (57) for 28 years.
