The TV presenter Laura Wontorra is apparently having trouble with Ivana Knöll, who is known as Miss Croatia and a scantily clad football fan. It’s about football expertise and the choice of outfit.
Ivana Knöll, Croatia’s superfan, freaks out on Instagram. The target of her insults is Magenta TV presenter Laura Wontorra. But let’s start from the beginning.
Before yesterday’s European Championship match between Croatia and Spain, Knöll was interviewed by Magenta TV. Among other things, she was asked to give a football tip as to who she thought would contest the championship final. Knöll backed her two favorite teams and hoped for a final between Croatia and France. So far, so good.
But then a kind of snowball effect took its course: As always, the football-loving Knöll appeared in a skimpy outfit in the Magenta TV interview. Presenter Stefanie Blochwitz commented: “It’s a bit cold…” and switched to the studio. There, presenter Johannes B. Kerner teased: “In theory, however, there is also the possibility of putting something on when it’s cold.”
Laura Wontorra can’t resist commenting
Presenter Laura Wontorra and former national player Tabea Kemme were on the sidelines of the stadium ready to report and there, too, a dig at Knöll was made: “We would now simply try to come up with a bit of expertise,” said Wontorra, whose comment probably referred to Knöll’s preferred opponents in the final.
The conversation about preferred candidates and outfits that were too skimpy seemed to get on Wontorra’s nerves. But that was not without consequences. A short time later, Ivana Knöll shared in her Instagram story: “Dear Laura, if I looked like that, I would only wear winter clothes forever” and combined this statement with a photo of Wontorra in a padded leather jacket.
The second post was even clearer, addressing the broadcaster, she wrote: “MagentaTV, the most unprofessional television of all time. Teach your presenters the culture and never invite me to an interview again.” As a third slide, she shared an approval from her Instagram inbox, a user wrote: “Very stupid comment from Laura, shame!” Knöll thanked her fans for sending her the tip about the presenter’s dig at her.
