Sarah Engels and Pietro Lombardi: Emotional congratulations for son Alessio

Sarah Engels (31) and Pietro Lombardi (32) have reason to celebrate on June 19th. Their son Alessio was born nine years ago. On the boy’s special day, his parents each shared loving words online. “No matter where you are and where life takes you. I am here like a rock in the surf,” Engels said to her son.

She also shared pictures showing the birthday girl over the years. “Exactly nine years ago, you turned my life completely upside down – you faced the biggest and most beautiful task in life,” she continued. The singer promised Alessio that she would always support him and “absorb disappointments or anger for you, even if it hurts me sometimes.”

Pietro Lombardi is brief

Alessio’s father Pietro Lombardi limited himself to a few words. “Happy birthday, my darling. Nine years, unbelievable,” he wrote in his Instagram story. The musician spent his birthday with his son in a relaxed way, watching football. “In two weeks we’ll have a huge pajama party with his boys,” he revealed.

The “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” winner is unlikely to be particularly pleased about his ex-wife’s post for their son. For him, his children’s privacy is the most important thing – which is why he is against showing the nine-year-old’s face on the Internet.

Pietro Lombardi and Sarah Engels got together in 2011 as part of the TV show. The wedding in 2013 was followed by Alessio’s birth, and the couple finally separated in 2016. Both are now in new relationships and have more children: Lombardi is expecting his second child with his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa (28), and Engels has a daughter with her husband Julian Engels (31).
